Sharing of your informationIf you book a charge as a user on Bookmycharge.com, your name, your email address, your mobile phone number, the make and model of your EV and your car registration number are sent to the chargepoint owner for the purposes of arranging a successful charge.
If you accept a charge as a chargepoint owner, your street address, your name, your street address, your email address and your mobile phone number are sent to the user for the purposes of arranging a successful charge.
We may also share your information if we are required to do so to comply with the law or with the directions of the courts or other authorities, or if we feel it is reasonably necessary to prevent illegal activity or to protect our interests.
We may share some broader statistics and customer profiling information with third parties and other companies but this information will remain anonymous and you won't be identifiable from that data.
We will only provide your details to other organisations or individuals having first obtained your explicit permission.
Your User Content (Profile and Location details listing if applicable) on the Bookmycharge site
The Bookmycharge website enables you to upload content about yourself (“User Content”).
Your Profile displays only your first name, any profile photograph you upload, your postcode and your EV make and model.
If you list a chargepoint on Bookmycharge, the Location details which enable users to review and book your chargepoint will show your first name, any profile photograph you upload, the first part of your postcode and basic details of your chargepoint and its location (drive/carport/garage). These details will be in the public domain, so may be accessed by any person using the web in any part of the world and can be found using independent search engines. So, if you choose to post information to the interactive parts of our site, we have to state that you do so at your own risk.

To stop any unauthorised person accessing your personal information, access is passworded and passwords are encrypted. We follow procedures to ensure those who see personal data understand how it may and may not be used. All personal information you register on this site will be located behind a firewall. We are serious about security, but no system is 100% secure, so like all organisations, we can't completely guarantee the protection of your personal information, so we can't accept any liability for the loss, theft or misuse of the personal information which you've registered on this website if there is a security breach.
